    Responsibilities

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Examine complex Commercial loan documentation and all related forms; provide vendor management support to offshore teams.
    • Upload Commercial loan data to the AFS Loan System using a variety of source applications and tools.
    • Define quality control and exception reporting policies to ensure maximum data integrity.
    • Service complex Commercial Loan products (including Participations and Syndications).
    • Service Multi-currency loans by performing currency exchange revaluations, Agent Notice interpretation, and Summit & STAR validation.
    • Interact with Commercial Banking liaisons, lenders, and all levels of management to provide optimum customer service support.
    • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to ensure timely resolution of issues arising from day-to-day operations.
    • Analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data about line of business segments through data mining, data modeling, creating ad-hoc reports, and conducting complex research.
    • Provide Accounting, Finance, and Tax support by performing complex reconciliations and financial analysis concerning all aspects of Commercial loan activities; Prepare various benchmark reports on investment securities, loan sales, Fed classifications, and additional loan activities to ensure compliance with Reg W and other regulatory guidelines.
    • Participate in system testing, script preparation, validation, and defect management.
    • Develop strategies to maximize operational efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, increase productivity, and reduce cost.
    • Prepare procedure documentation, process maps, and workflows.
    • Perform Collateral monitoring and exception reporting (including negotiable security instruments).

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree with a concentration in Business or Finance; or at least 3 years relevant experience in Financial Operations, Loan Servicing, or Commercial Lending industry.
    • Experience interacting with the AFS Loan System.
    • Preferred experience interacting with the Summit and STAR investment applications.
    • Proficient with use of Bank servicing applications (Client Vista, Content Viewer, Alnova, and General Ledger/TM1).
    • Proficient with Adobe Pro (form development, file type conversion).
    • Proficient with data-analysis tools and applications (RDL, Mobius Document Direct, Docu-Analyzer, and Monarch).
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products, terminology, and Commercial Closing/Funding documentation (experience with CLO preferred).
    • Experience with Accounting (both domestic and international practices), Investments, and Risk Analysis.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications; including Excel (macros, v-lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas), Access (database creation and maintenance, SQL query development and report design), Word (mail merge), and Powerpoint (slide presentations).
    • Highly proficient in Google applications (including Forms, Sheets, and Script development).
