    General Summary:

    Responsible for data mining, developing quantitative/analytic models and applications in support of the company’s business intelligence efforts. 


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop analytical models and calculations that assess in target marketing, retention and/or segmentation of new and existing bank customers.
    • Plans data collection, and analyzes and interprets numerical data from surveys, experiments, studies, and other sources and applies statistical methodology to provide information to scientific research and statistical analysis.
    • Plans methods to collect information.
    • Develops and designs database analysis programs.
    • Use a data query tool, such as SAS.
    • Compiles reports, charts and tables.
    • Perform analysis and develop reporting tools to help the digital team to increase web traffic, conversion rates and online account origination



    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years proven experience with SAS (or similar software) for extracting and analyzing data.
    • Consumer and/or small business banking experience with 3-5 years in marketing, product management, credit risk or financial analysis.
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Exposure to credit scoring, quantitative techniques and database management.
    • Statistical modeling exposure a plus.
    • Proven ability using Microsoft Office tools for reporting and analyzing data.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills with an ability to effectively execute tactical plans.
    • Experience working with analytics tools such as Omniture Site Catalyst, Google Analytics, etc
    • Well-versed in digital media concepts/technicalities i.e. website tagging, user, traffic, conversion funnel, digital campaign data, A/B testing and building segmentations.
    • Knowledge of Online Banking, Mobile Banking and general use of Digital Channels is a major advantage.    
    • Experience with CRM and campaign management is desired.
    • Grade 20: At least 4 to 5 years of previous experience.  Able to handle the most complex projects/assignments.
