    Responsibilities

    Function:      

     

    Review loans for proper documentation, calculations, and approvals.   Work directly with dealers, customers, and other bank employees to resolve problems. Follow up on outstanding automobile titles and work with dealers and customers to resolve issues. Performs a variety of clerical duties relating to the accurate and timely processing of indirect loans, while following established policies and procedures and legal and regulatory guidelines.

     

    Duties:

    1. Review indirect auto loans for proper documentation, calculations, regulatory requirements and underwriter approvals.
    2. Work directly with dealers, customers, and other bank employees to resolve problems while maintaining positive business relationships.
    3. Performs variety of clerical duties relating to the accurate and timely processing of indirect loans, ensuring prompt and accurate payment to the dealer.
    4. Assist with the tracking and follow up of automobile titles for loan collateral.
    5. Identifies and refers possible fraudulent cases for supervisory review.
    6. Ensures that work is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    1. High school diploma or GED.
    2. One year experience in a relevant financial services environment, preferably in a customer contact or loan operations position.
    3. Good typing skills (using computer terminal) and basic knowledge of office equipment.
    4. Good oral and written communication skills.
    5. Ability to resolve problems without disrupting customer relationships.
    6. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
    7. Ability to perform well in a fast‑paced, stressful environment.
    8. Detail oriented, with ability to audit and correct procedural errors.
    9. 2 or more years direct experience required

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Experience with indirect sales contracts and automobile title problem reconciliation a plus.
