    Responsibilities

    The Role

    The SPOC DEV Manager will be the liaison between all the DnD, IT, ER&CA and CCR for all the BBVA Compass Bank Projects which involve CCR.

    All the projects must be promoted to Production in compliance with all the ITIL processes implemented by BBVA CCR as well as BBVA Compass.

    The SPOC DEV Manager is also the liaison with the SPOC PROD manager when a new project or service is deployed to production.  The SPOC PROD team will then take care of it in the same way the rest of the Applications are managed in the Production Environment.

     

    Essential Functions

    1. Make sure all the ITIL and SDLC processes implemented at BBVA and CCR are known by all the BBVA Compass Engineering teams.
    2. When BBVA Compass team members need some training on the ITIL processes, bring CCR team members to USA for performing some hands on for every of them.
    3. This person must be engaged with the different PMs from BBVA and aware of all the projects planned in order to be proactive and do the resources planning accordingly.
    4. This person will be also responsible for following the Incident, Problem and Change Management Processes for the Dev Environments at CCR.
    5. This person will also be responsible for reviewing and either approving or rejecting the Infrastructure Changes at CCR. When validations are needed, this person will coordinate them with the rest of the team members.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    1. BS/BA degree in relevant field, including hands-on managerial business experience and specific knowledge of collateral or risk- related processes in retail, commercial, or corporate and investment banking lines of business
    2. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a team.
    3. Well-established verbal and written communications skills – with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with senior and executive level managers.
    4. An established record of creating relationships and bridges with peer organizations, and using teamwork effectively to resolve problems and design business plans.
    5. Detail oriented and analytical, able evaluate information to determine the appropriate course of action.
    6. Results-focused, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing actions and ensuring resolution.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. Experience with BBVA is preferred.
    2. CCR Organization knowledge is a must.
    3. BBVA Compass Engineering Organization knowledge is a must.
    4. +3 years of experience dealing with the DnD teams.
    5. +3 years of experience dealing with the IT teams.
    6. +3 Years of experience in Open Systems Operations
    7. Knowledge of the different BBVA Compass Online Services..

    Working Conditions

    1. This job may have moderate to strenuous physical requirements; some work is performed in a climate-controlled indoor facility, however security assignments may require exposure to outdoor environments.
    2. This job requires manual dexterity, frequent sitting, standing or walking, the ability to view printed or electronic information and to communicate verbally, in-person or on the telephone.
    3. This job occasionally requires the ability to balance, bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs or lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
    4. Work volume can be unpredictable and interruptions from customers, peers, managers or others may be present.
    5. Domestic and/or international overnight travel is required.

    Supervisory Authority

    This position has direct management responsibility for SPOC DEV TEAM. These team members are responsible for working on all the incidents and incident processes with the necessary Engineering/LOB teams.
