Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

Market accounts receivable factoring programs to a broad base of manufacturers, wholesalers and service companies.  Marketing will be to BBVA Compass RM’s for referrals, as well as direct prospect calling.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Call on Relationship Managers and City Presidents to generate factoring referrals
  • Initiate and make regional, city and COI group presentations
  • External calling on C&I prospects
  • Follow up with prospective clients for additional information required in the underwriting and approval process
  • Generate activity reports that measure the performance of sales/calling effort
  • Accomplish annual new business revenue goals

Qualifications

Overall Qualifications:

  • Degree required
  • Willing to travel
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Ability to communicate well with prospective clients
  • Well organized with calling effort
  • Must be marketing-oriented
  • Self-motivated with strong level of initiative
  • Effective time management, organization and multitasking skill
  • Good follow-up practices

Required for Level I:

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in commercial financial products
  • Possess analytical skills necessary to qualify prospects

 

Required for Level II:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in commercial financial products
  • Possess analytical skills necessary to qualify prospects, as well as prepare and make presentations from a credit standpoint
  • Adept at group presentations

 

Required for Level III:

  • Minimum 8 years sales experience in commercial financial products
  • Possess analytical skills necessary to qualify prospects, as well as to prepare and make presentations from a credit standpoint
  • Adept at group presentations
  • Capable of managing the sales activities of Commercial Billing
  • Ability to develop sales plans and budgets
  • Ability to develop and oversee sales training programs
