Summary

The Relationship Support Specialist is the key sales and service support role for the Commercial Payment Solution teams. The RSS will service the needs of top clients as well as coordinating sales and service initiatives while supporting Commercial Sales & Products Solution Specialist and management teams with sales reporting, tracking and clerical tasks. Must be professional and have the ability to prioritize timelines for projects and initiatives. Good communication skills with Commercial Payment Solution team, business clients, external service providers and lines of businesses.

Job Description

Sales Support

 

  • Provide support to generate sales and sales calls activity logs, Strategic Partner Interaction Inspection and Pipeline reports and distribute for weekly sales meeting. Develop other sales management reports as needed. Attend weekly sales meetings and gather information during the meeting that will help plan how to assist on sales calls during the week.

 

  • Pull daily sales tracking reports, distribute to managers and make sure sales calls are updated in sales tracking system. Prepare briefing memos for Strategic Partners to be distributed during quarterly roundtable meetings. Prepare pre-call materials for customer sales calls. Perform customer/competitor Internet research for sales calls. Coordinate business development projects/initiatives implemented through marketing, sales and

 

  • Review marketing leads reports to help bring Sales attention to leads that have not been contacted. Maintain customer/prospect Tier Ranking process. Make sure customer/prospect ranking is tracked and linked appropriately. Update prospect records and time sensitive ticklers as needed to reflect new customer On-Boarding process. Track correspondence in sales tracking system.

 

  • Initiate courtesy check-in calls, follow-up calls and action plans for key prospects and customers. Educate business clients with information on new products and product offers.

 

 

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support such as travel planning, expense report processing, data input and phone support.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing daily calendar.
  • Primary new hire liaison for new employees. Assist by being resourceful to all aspects of benefits, compliance training, new testing requirements, and if applicable, to BBVA human resources
  • Be able to act in a training capacity for the on boarding of new Compliance training & Regulatory Audit support
  • Internal expense management and communication of expense related bank policy.
  • Event Planning & marketing, and IT Video conferencing

Qualifications

Qualifications

College degree preferred with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently, demonstrate critical thinking, and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.   At least five years experience in an Administrative Coordinator role and experience working with client-facing professionals. Commercial Banking or Treasury Management experience is preferred. Must work well in a team environment.

·         Strong computer skills, including experience with all Microsoft Office applications and internet applications. Proficient with Microsoft Access .

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ADA

·         No unusual physical requirements.  All work is typically performed in a comfortable indoor facility.
